Puppy Pre-School
Puppy Training begins the moment you bring your new puppy home, and we can help with that! Our Puppy Preschool is for puppies aged 8 -16 weeks and we like to have them in for their first class before the reach the 12 week mark. Our puppy pre-school classes will assist you in raising a well-mannered family pet. This class is geared toward teaching the owners how they can influence and shape the behavior of their growing puppy. Puppy pre-school is designed to teach owners to better understand their puppy’s needs, establish effective communication, curb behavior problems, and to show owners how to properly socialize their new puppy. Puppy pre-school is a 3 session course over 3-weeks, at The Prodigal Pooch. Each class is 1 hour long. Click here to book a consultation for Puppy Preschool.
Private Training Sessions
Our private training sessions are geared toward training YOU how to train your dog. Between each session, you are practicing the training with your dog, before we meet again and build on that training and teach you more. All of the commands covered in private training sessions are great for working in every day, real world situations and will teach your dog to have proper manners in every day public situations. Private, One-on-One Lessons are held at The Prodigal Pooch and each session is 1 hour long. Private Training sessions do not include the cost of additional training tools necessary for success. Resident Training Programs
Resident training programs give dogs and their owners the most superior results because our professional trainers do all of the heavy lifting with the training of your dog. Whether you are going away on vacation, too busy to train your dog, or you’re not interested in doing the heavy lifting in training your dog... resident programs are for you. These programs last either 12 or 19 days.
If you are looking for superior results, resident programs are your best option. Upon completion of your dog’s residency program you and your family will be trained how to use and enjoy the results of training with follow-up sessions held at The Prodigal Pooch. You will learn all of the commands covered during their program, the training tools, and techniques so you can maintain your new dog’s manners for the rest of your life! Each program is customized for you and your dog’s specific needs. Start with a consultation to determine what type of training is best for your situation. All prices include boarding, training, training tools, and exercise as well as private follow-up sessions to learn how to maintain your dog’s new behaviors. Dogs must be at least 5 months old to enroll in resident training.

This program is designed to start managing and controlling severe behaviors such as anxiety or aggression, but The Prodigal Pooch makes no guarantees to ‘fix’ the issues.
